Can I make a claim if I am in a debt management programme?
Yes this does not prevent you making a claim.

Can I appoint my own solicitor?
Yes you can however we cannot guarantee that a solicitor you choose will work on a no win no fee basis.

Will I have to pay anything to your solicitor?
No arrangements will already be in place to ensure you will have no costs to pay.

Will I have to attend court?
We would anticipate that most lenders will be sensible and will not dispute our solicitors findings when they present them with the evidence that the agreement contains breaches and is therefore unenforceable. However in the unlikely event that that it becomes necessary for you to attend court you will be accompanied by one of our experienced solicitors who will guide you every step of the way.

Do I have any alternatives other than making a claim in this way?
Yes, you could make a claim through the Financial Ombudsman or seek assistance from organisations such as The Citizens Advice Bureau or National Debtline.

Will I be able to obtain another credit card or loan?
There is no reason why not there is nothing we do during our process which should affect your ability to obtain a loan or credit card from a different lender.

Can I keep using my credit card?
No, once we initiate a claim it could effect the chances of success if you do so.

What happens if I can’t find the paperwork ?
We will as a matter of course ask your lender for a copy of the agreement.

What amount of loan or credit card balance does your service apply to?
Generally speaking with credit cards and loans the amount is £2500 however we will consider smaller amounts on a case by case basis.
With PPI claims we normally look for a minimum of £1500 but again will look at smaller amounts on a case by case basis.

Will making a claim damage my credit rating?
NO, if your credit agreement is unenforceable your lender cannot register defaults against you. They may however refuse to deal with you in the future.
